Madone SL 5 Gen 8 is a lightweight aero road bike that brings elite racing tech to a lower price point. It offers similar aero benefits to the pricier Madone SLR Gen 8 models, but with a more economical OCLV 500 Carbon layup and two-piece cockpit with hidden cable routing. A Shimano 105 groupset, alloy handlebars, and alloy wheels keep the price down while still delivering clean mechanical shifting you can trust.
Aero + light
The Gen 8 Madone combines aero tube shapes with a lighter 500 Series OCLV Carbon frame.
Aero tube shapes throughout the frame, fork and cockpit.
A light, stiff carbon frame built for racing and fast group rides.
A shaped seat tube that adds comfort without losing aero performance.
Race ready
Integrated routing, a 12-speed drivetrain and fast tires.
Hides cables for a clean front end and supports electronic or mechanical shifting.
Crisp shifting with an 11–34 cassette for climbs.
Fast, tubeless-ready tires with room for up to 32 mm.
Madone SL 5 vs Domane AL 4
